Welcome to the EcoChic Fair Trade website.

By continuing to use this website you are indicating that you accept our Terms and Conditions

Our Delivery Policy:


Purchases up to the value of  £30.00 are charged at a rate of £2.95

Purchases from £30.00 to £100.00 are charged at a rate of £3.95

Purchases over £100.00 are FREE.


• All our orders are sent by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery,• Orders over £60 are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or alternatively by courier.

We currently only deliver to UK addresses., openning within the rest of Europe very shortly.

Once you have received our confirmation e-mail of the goods you have purchased, we aim to dispatch your order within two working days of receipt, but please allow ten working  days for your order to reach you.

Please check for updates of dispatch times on our website.

At busy times we may provide an updated estimate of current dispatching times on our website and when you order.

Please be aware however that, all dispatch times we give are estimates and that whilst we use every endeavour to meet them, they may on occasion be exceeded. If we cannot keep within a dispatch time estimate we will inform you by e-mail. If the product(s) you ordered is not dispatched to you within 10 days of our dispatch estimate we will give you the opportunity to cancel your order and you will be refunded.

Please note that the following may affect when you will receive your order :

• Your order will not be dispatched until we receive full payment. Our dispatch time estimate will run from when full payment is received.

• all orders must be signed for by an adult over the age of 18yrs on delivery.


The risk of loss or damage to the products will pass to you after we have delivered your order or have first attempted to deliver your order to you.

2. Returns Policy

We hope you will love our products. However if, for any reason, you are unhappy with your order, or just change your mind, here is what you do:


You can return most of our products to us if you tell us you no longer want them within seven days after receiving your order. You will then receive a full refund.

To cancel an order please follow this procedure:

1. Email returns@ecochicfairtrade.co.uk within 7 days from the day after you have received the products you wish to return.
Unfortunately if you notify us after this period you will not be able to be refunded unless the products are faulty.

2. Please then return the unwanted products to us. We ask you to do this no later than fourteen days after receipt of the products.

3. Please send your returns with their original packaging (with a copy of your delivery note and the Product Return Form ) to:

If the Returns Form is not enclosed we will not be able to refund your money.

• The cost of postage must be covered by you.
• If the products are faulty we will refund the cost of postage as well.
• Depending on what you want we will then either exchange the products or offer a full refund as indicated on your returns form.
• Your money will be refunded via the same payment method you used to pay us.

4. You have a legal duty to take care of products you are returning. Please ensure that the products are returned to us undamaged and unused.

We are sorry but we cannot accept a return of the following items unless they are faulty:
• fresh flowers
• perishable goods including our range of fresh chocolates
• pierced jewellery for hygiene reasons
• Underwear

Please note that you will not be refunded for any gift wrapping service we have already carried out.

• Faulty products
In the unlikely event you receive a faulty product you have the right to return it to us within a reasonable period of time.

Please note that if, after inspection, it is found that the product supplied by us is not faulty or defective or that any fault was caused by your error, then we reserve the right to re-charge you for the original order (if you have previously been refunded) and to recover from you any additional costs that we have reasonably incurred.
Please note we do not accept liability for any faults that arise from:
• your failure to fit or use the product supplied in accordance with the maker’s instructions
• modifications you have made to the product
• your misuse of the product

For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded or insured delivery service when returning products to us. You can obtain a free certificate of posting from the post office on all products sent by the Royal Mail.

• Products sent to you in error
If a product is sent to you in error, please contact us straightaway to arrange collection and replacement.

Please make the original product available for collection by us in its original packaging, undamaged and unused within [14] days of notifying us of the mistake. If you fail to do so then we reserve the right to charge you for that product on your original payment card.

3. For commercial reasons we do not allow the following activities:
• Downloading (apart from page caching)
• Modifying the website or any of its contents
• Commercial use or exploitation of the website including:
• Collection of product listings or prices or other website information for the benefit of another commercial entity

• Extraction or copying of any trademark, logo or other graphic or intellectual property from our website without our prior written consent.

4. You must not use the website in a way that can cause it to be damaged or disrupted or which may interfere with access to it. Specifically you must not use the website for:
• Fraud or any unlawful activity
• Transmission of any virus, political campaign or mass mailing of any kind or any type of “spam”
• Transmission of commercial advertisements (please contact us first if you wish to consider a link with a complementary product or business) or
• Publication of any material that contravenes the intellectual property rights of a third party
• Any purpose that causes annoyance or inconvenience to RML or other website users.

5. Our website may contain links to other websites where we think they may be of interest to you. We do not make any guarantees about these sites as they are not under our control and we do not monitor their content.

6. Although we take reasonable precautions, we do not warrant that the functions contained in this website will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs.

7. Within our website we are very happy for you to post reviews, give feedback and make comments about the products we sell. However, for obvious reasons, you are not permitted to include content that contravenes clause 2 above. In addition you must not use a false e-mail address or impersonate another person or entity or otherwise mislead as to your identity or the origin of the comments you make. To maintain the integrity of the website we may remove or edit content on the website at our discretion.

If you choose to post any review or comment on our website it not only provides us with valuable feedback but can also be wonderful publicity not just for our business but also for our fair trade partners and for the fair trade cause.
Accordingly:
You agree that we and anyone we authorise:
• May use and reproduce your postings at any time, free of charge. Your postings may be edited, but not so as to change their meaning.
• Such use may be in any media, world wide
• May choose, where appropriate, to identify you as the author of any such postings.

We agree that:
a. We will represent your comments fairly
b. We will only use your postings:
• to promote our business and products and/or
• to pass onto the businesses of our fair trade suppliers to promote their businesses and/or
• To promote consumer awareness of the benefits of fair trade to producers in the developing world.


About your purchase:

Welcome to the EcoChic Fair Trade online shopping service. The following terms and conditions will apply to your order- please read them carefully before proceeding.

You can print these terms and conditions and any other page on our website by selecting “print” from the File menu on your internet browser.

8. Who can buy products

You must be over the age of 18 to buy products from us.
At the present time we only deliver products within the UK. If you wish to purchase outside of the UK please contact us on +44 (1273) 24 55 33


9. Our Contract

When you order from our on-line shop we will send you an e-mail back that confirms whether your order has been accepted and details what you have ordered. This is when the contract for sale is made and we take payment from you at this point.

A further e-mail will be sent to you when your order is despatched.

If there are products that you ordered that are not accepted in our e-mail then these will not be part of that contract. We will however try to keep availability details up-to-date on our website.

Very occasionally we make a mistake and it may transpire that the items you ordered are not available or that the specification of the product has changed. If this happens we will contact you as soon as possible and ask you whether you wish to proceed. If you do not wish to proceed we will give you a full refund.

We recommend that you print out a copy of the contract documents between us for your own records. We will also retain a record of our contract. We will send you a copy by e-mail upon request, or/and you can also check the details of your order at any time by going to the “My Account” section of the website. The Contract for the purchase of products from this website is between you and Eco Chic UK LLP. 

Throughout our dealings with you we will communicate with you by e-mail unless you specify an alternative means of communication.
10. Description and use of the product

Unlike the products you may find in the high street, most of the products we supply are hand made and all are organic cotton avoiding exposure to harmful chemicals and pesticides. All of our items are hand stitched, rather than stitched by machine. You may therefore find slight differences and colour variation from the product description when you receive your order- please enjoy these differences they are what make your purchase truly unique.
We do not consider these variations/differences as faults but, if you are unhappy with your purchase, you may can return most products to us within 14 days.

All sizes and measurements are approximate; however we do make every effort to be accurate as possible

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices outlined on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered.

11. Price

The prices shown on our website include UK sales tax. Delivery costs are shown at the top of this page and are additional to the product price.
A separate charge is also made for Gift Wrapping.

If you are ordering any product that we agree to deliver overseas you may have to pay import duties and/or taxes and customs clearance charges. We have no control over these charges, which vary greatly between countries. It is your responsibility to find out about and pay these charges. Your local customs office should be able to provide you with the relevant information.

We try hard to keep product prices up-to-date. Prices in our brochures can change so you should check the current price on ordering or on our web site. Very occasionally when your item is out of stock and we re order it for you, the new stock may be a higher price. If this happens we will e-mail you so that you can choose to either cancel your order or to confirm it at the higher price. If we have already accepted your order you will be charged the lower price.

We do not charge your credit or debit card until we have accepted your order. Payment must be made at this point and you will not own the products, nor will we despatch the products to you, until payment in full has been made. If for any reason your card is declined we will contact you. We reserve the right to cancel your order in these circumstances.

As part of our security measures against credit card fraud, we reserve the right to contact you in order to verify your identity.
Please ensure that you keep any password to access your on-line account confidential.

13. Credit Card Security:

For your peace of mind we have paid extra for security protection so that you can buy our products online, with confidence. In common with many larger companies we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software systems to protect the security of your information during transmission by encrypting the information you input.


14. Changes to our terms and conditions, policies and website

Our terms and conditions, policies and website content will change from time to time. The conditions and policies that apply to your order will be those in force and published on our website at the time.


15. Law and jurisdiction applicable to our contract

English law governs this contract and we both agree to use the English courts if there is a dispute between us.
