EcoFair Ethical Fashion Show & Uniforms for Kenya

You may remember the violence that ocurred earlier this year in Kenya and the looting and burning of homes. As a result of this many children were unable to return to school as they were without uniforms. So EcoChic in collaboration with Ann Anscombe thought we would raise funds at our EcoFair Ethical Fashion Show.

Further to our Fashion show in the summer all of the fourteen children that were without school uniforms are now thanks to the generosity of the Fashion Show audience back at School.

We are delighted to bring you pictures and captions for a very appreciative number of Kenyan Mums and Dads sent from Stephen Tete a Kenyan resident who sought help for these children:

“ I really thank you for what you have done to some family hear in Kenya”

“What you have done is appreciated hear very much , You have made children get what they have been crying for and this is , going back to school .The shools willl open on 8th and am sure this children on that day they will be the first to arrive in school. The parents are also happy of the assistance they got.Their smiles on their face tells it all”.

So thank you again to all of you who supported us.

We look forward to our next Ethical Fashion Show.
